Daniel Edmunds - Inducted in 2005

Daniel Edmunds, who has served the Taylor School District for 35 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator, is currently an athletic director. He coached football, basketball, track and softball teams, earning championships and coach of the year honors in softball and football.

Edmunds’s success as athletic director is displayed by two major awards in 2005 and in his role as president of the Mega Conference. He received the Allen W Bush Award from the Michigan High School Athletic Association, which honors individuals for past and continuing service to prep athletics. He also was named Region 12 Athletic Director of the Year by the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, the governing body of high school athletic directors.
