City Council accepting resumes for vacant City Council position

The City of Taylor is currently accepting resumes for a City Council vacancy opening January 1, 2019.

This vacancy was caused by the election Alex Garza, the current City Council chairman, to the state legislature. State Rep.-elect Garza submitted his resignation to the City Council during its November 20 meeting, effective at the end of 2018.

Anyone interested in the vacant post should submit a resume with a cover letter no later than December 17, 2018, to the City Council Office, 23555 Goddard, Taylor, MI 48180 or via email at
