Farmer's market holds senior day, classic car display, August 9


The Taylor Farmer's Market presented by Beaumont Health System will be hosting senior day and a classic car display this Friday (August 9). The market is open to the public from noon to 5 p.m.

The first 100 seniors will get a $5 coupon, provided by the market, good for a discount at any vendor in the Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion that day. Last week, the market hosted over 30 vendors, and over 400 people stopped by the shop, eat and enjoy the summer weather.

Any classic car (or hot rod) is welcome to participate in the car display, which will be held in an specific portion of the Pardee Road parking lot. There is no application, fee or preregistration process. We only ask that vehicles show up between 11:30-noon, so that market staffers can direct you to the best location.

Also in attendance Friday will be the Taylor Community Library and Beaumont. Seniors from the William Ford Senior Activities Center will be bused over. and the afternoon senior of Zumba will focused on seniors.

Admission and parking for the Taylor Farmer's Market is always free. The market is located in the Sheridan Center in Heritage Park.
