The Taylor Animal Shelter, 25555 Northline Road between Telegraph and Beech Daly, is reopening its pet licensing program from 9-11 a.m. each Thursday beginning on July 9, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 11.

The shelter will be licensing every Thursdays going forward. The Saturday event is a special date, although it may be repeated.

Licenses are low cost and good for a calendar year. License service offers the following fees:

  • $10 for a sterilized pet; $30 for non-sterilized
  • $5 senior fee for sterilized pet; $10 senior fee for non-sterilized
  • $5 for replacement tag (sterilized); $10 for replacement tag (non-sterilized)

Payment is by credit/debit card only. There is no need to call for an appointment. When you arrive, remain in the lot outside your vehicle, and an animal control officer will come out and join you, and complete the transaction. Once everything is complete, you will receive your license and a paper copy.

While outside they will have to use social distancing and have a mask on. Anyone without a mask will be asked to get one on if not then services will be denied.
