How do I obtain a certified copy of a death record, and how much do they cost?
Certified copies of death records, of only those who have passed in Taylor, can be obtained in person or by mail through the City Clerk’s office located at:
Taylor City Hall
23555 Goddard Road
Taylor, MI 48180

Mail requests are to include:
- The name of the decedent
- The date of death (if known)
- The name, address, and telephone number of the requester
- The number of copies requested
- A check or money order made out to the City of Taylor in the correct amount

The copy of the first certified record is $15, and additional copies are $5 each.
