Location/telephone/hours

The Heritage Park Petting Farm offers a hands-on experience for the young or just young at heart in a unique park atmosphere. A knowledgeable staff is on hand to assist and make your visit a memorable one. The farm is open year round, and each season brings interesting changes. The barn is heated to provide warmth for our guests and animals.

The Heritage Park Petting Farm is located at 12803 Pardee Road, on the corner of Pardee and Northline roads. Interested parties can contact the farm by calling 734-374-5946. 

Warm weather admissions Tuesdays-Sundays 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (final admission) . 

Winter public hours (beginning in November) are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (final admission) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. 

School and group tours can be made by appointment on Tuesdays through Fridays. Hours change seasonally, so please call ahead. Special events cost $5. Regular rates are $3 for Taylor residents, $4 for non-residents, and children 1 and under are admitted free.

Family Fun Pass

Get the Heritage Park Petting Farm Family Fun Pass! The pass gives your family unlimited admission to the Petting Farm for one full year and free admission to all special events. Prices are $50 for Taylor families and $60 for non-resident families. Pass covers five people; additional members are $15 each. Call 734-374-5946 for more information.

Special Events

Special events run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and are $5. Call ahead for current regularly scheduled hours throughout the year at (734) 374-5946.

Welcome Center

The Welcome Center, located on the north east corner of Northline and Pardee roads in Taylor, is the main entrance to the farm. Inside the welcome center is the activity room which is used for birthday parties, special events field trips.

Nature Pond

Just beyond the welcome center, the pond is home to koi fish, frogs, turtles and aquatic plant life. Visitors can walk out onto the deck to get a closer look at turtles basking in the sun. Many waterfalls provide the perfect spot for wild ducks to swim and play.

Big Red Barn

The full-size barn is home to goats, sheep, alpacas, ponies, cows, donkeys, rabbits, chickens, and piglets. Guests can view and interact with the animals under the guidance of our staff.
