Event on your property that is outside of normal business operations, lasting up to seven (7) days per year. Maximum number of events are two (2) per year, per property or business.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTAL IS A MINIMUM OF THREE (3) WEEKS PRIOR TO EVENT.
$750.00 ($500.00 inspection fee + $250.00 refundable bond- to be returned upon site cleanup.)
If electricity is used: additional $150.00 electrical inspection fee will apply.

Please note that a maximum of two temporary use permits, seasonal, or special event permits by a single business or property are permitted each year. Maximum days for a special event are 14 per year.
For Carnivals and Fireworks please use separate application labeled for these types of uses.
You must call the Building Department (734) 374-6550 & Fire Department (734) 374-1355, during regular business hours, to set up an inspection prior to start of event or your bond will be forfeited and applicable fines will be assessed. ANY INSPECTIONS OCCURRING OUTSIDE OF THE M-F, 9-5, BUSINESS HOURS WILL BE BILLED TO THE APPLICANT AT CURRENT RATE.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT AFTER CLEANUP, YOU CALL THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR A FINAL INSPECTION OR YOUR BOND WILL BE FORFEITED.
