Board of Review



The City of Taylor Board of Review will be conducting the 2020 July Board of Review and will convene in the Taylor City Hall at 23555 Goddard Road, Taylor, Michigan 48180. 

The regular Board of Review schedule is as follows: July 23, 2020 between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm

This is a correction Board of Review and will cover all clerical errors and mutual mistakes of fact during the meeting. Also per Executive Order 2020-87, protest of valuation and classification for 2020 ONLY will be allowed. 

All Board of Review meetings are open meetings in compliance with the “Open Meetings Act”.

The Board of Review is comprised of a three-member board. The Board members must be registered electors of the City and own real property in the City. One-third of the Board is appointed each year by City Council to a three-year term, expiring on November 30. At the Board’s first meeting each year, a chairperson is selected for the current year. The Assessor serves as the Secretary to the Board but has no vote on any appeal, proposition or question.

The members of the board of review are paid compensation on a per diem basis as set by the City Council.
