Meet in the Pardee Road parking lot in front of the Sheridan Center at 9 a.m. sharp! No preregistration necessary. Just meet there and get ready to clean!
Since we are still in a COVID-19 atmosphere, we emphasize that participants avoid large gatherings and distance themselves from each other. This is a great chance for you to get out of the house, enjoy a spring Saturday morning and support Taylor’s most beautiful park.

Sixth annual Heritage Park Cleanup Day
Saturday, May 1, 2021
The sixth annual Heritage Park Clean-up Day has been scheduled for Saturday, May 1. Volunteers should meet in the Pardee Road parking lot (in front of the Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion) at 9 a.m. Enter the park through the Northline/Racho entrance because Pardee Road is being resurfaced and the Pardee entrance is closed. Plan for about two hours.
Please note the following:
Instead of gathering in the pavilion, please park in the Pardee Road lot and remain near your vehicles
The founder of the clean-up, Jim Taylor, will address volunteers by bull horn with instructions and the schedule for the sweep of the park grounds
This is a rain or shine event. Please dress appropriately. Boots are critical
If you have trash grabbers, please bring them with you
Please wear a face mask.
If you have gloves, wear them.
Trash buckets and bags will be handed out, via our Parks Department
Bottled water will be available
“Community service hours” certificates will be available.
