Looking for a midday adventure on Sunday?

Are you looking for some good food after attending church service? Or a place to grab brunch while catching some of the early National Football League games on television? Sunday brunch can be a busy time across the City of Taylor, which is why the Lake House Grille at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Course is now open to match your needs -- and your appetite.

The Lake House Grille will be open for Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning on Sunday, November 4. It will offer a special menu to fit a wide range of tastes, as well as your pocketbook. Brunch offerings will range from $8 to $14 (for the deluxe New York Strip Streak and eggs), with the children can eat for just $4.

The $8 offerings include the Stuffed French Toast or Poutine; and for $9 you have the option of Chicken and Waffles, Petite Steak Baguette, Monte Cristo, Avocado Toast, Breakfast Burrito, Fresh-Made Omelettes, Eggs Benedict or various versions of hash. For the heartier souls, there is the pot roast with Yukon Gold potatoes and roasted vegetables or the 12-ounce New York Strip with breakfast potatoes and your choice of eggs.

In addition, the drink menu will feature a great Bloody Mary Bar with discounted refills along with flavored Mimosas (with $1 refills). For adventuresome coffee drinkers, the Sunday Brunch will offer five different flavored "coffee cocktails" -- Mexican, Irish, Toffee, Spicy Pumpkin and Sweet Like Chocolate.

The Lake House Grille at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Course features the perfect midday setting if you are with your significant other, your entire entire or an even larger group. It is easily accessible, located on North Line Road between Telegraph and Beech Daly, and offers unlimited parking.

And you aren't going to get a beautiful view of an Arthur Hills' golf course anywhere else in Taylor.

Stop by this weekend. You won't be disappointed.
