Taylor Police Auxiliary busy leading up to March recruiting season

The Taylor Auxiliary Police are very busy, heading directly into the organization's recruiting season in March 2020.

Starting March 1, the auxiliary will be holding classes two days per weekly for 12 weeks, where recruits will be training in firearms, first aid and other law enforcement techniques.

The auxiliary is an all-volunteer force in Taylor. For more information, email tapdrecruiting@yahoo.com or submit an application through the organization's website here.

  • The Taylor Auxiliary Police will hold a fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse on November 12. For more information, click here
  • On November 23, the auxiliary police will conduct an auction at the William Ford Senior Activities Center. All proceeds will go toward the organization for uniform purchases and to aid the department's growth. Click here for more information.
